ORIGIN - The reason the Sno-knife was created is because there was no other tool/rake on the market for roof snow removal that worked effectively. The SNO-knife makes snow removal from your roof easier, less work, faster and less expensive.

METHOD - As snow builds up on a roof it forms an ice bond to the surface of the roof. This occurs because the heat loss from a house warms the roof, resulting in the ice bond. The SNO-knife slices through the bond layer of the snow and releases the snow so it will easily slide off the roof.

By sliding the SNO-knife flat along the roof moving side to side or up and down, it enables you to undercut and remove the snow from large areas without changing your position as often as you have to do with other products. The SNO-knife is not a roof rake, but is a finely designed roof snow removal tool. The uniquely designed leading edge helps guide the SNO-knife over the edges of shingles, shakes and other roof coverings as it undercuts the snow.

Using SNO-knife lube, snow removal is made even easier, much like the effect of wax on snow skis. Use the SNO-knife gloves and get more work done in cold weather. These gloves are insulated and PVC coated with a sandy finish that improves grip, even when wet!
